AX for ERP

AXAPTA is an ERP developed by IBM and Damgaard, initially released as IBM AXAPTA in 1998. IBM relinquished its rights on AXAPTA in 2000 and Damgaard merged with Navision (NAV is a midrange ERP offering). Navision released AXAPTA until the combined entity was acquired by Microsoft in 2002 AXAPTA is rechristened as AX and is officially termed as Microsoft Dynamics AX. Current market versions are AX 2012 R3 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for operations. This is blog features some cool stuff on AX
